had my 1st Children's Christmas Party wif me nt being one of e children in it haha!in e morning, we had e 1st session of e party @ K Clinic where e outpatient chidren were..@ 1st was i was a bit flustered coz it was my 1st time being a host 4 a children's party although e no. of kids wasnt veri large but becoz some of e kids were nt really eager 2 participate in e games we had planned..but luckily after dat they sorta warmed up & they seemed 2 enjoy themselves..of course they were e happiest when Santa arrived & gave them their goodie bags & presents..haha..we also sang some x'mas songs wif e kids..while e balloonist sculpted some really nice balloons 4 them..we ended e session after every1 had their presents & photos taken wif Santa. So we then took a break & had pizza 4 lunch..after which we gt ready 4 e 2nd session which was held @ e play area where e patients frm e wards were brought there. for e 2nd session, we had a 2nd round of e same programmes..juz dat tis time we cldnt play e more active games wif them coz some of them had some equipments attached 2 them..but 2 my surprise,e kids there were more enthusiastic..it's probably coz they haf less chances 2 take part in such events.anywae, it was great seeing e kids enjoying themselves & having smiles on their faces..our party muz haf brightened their day..it was also comforting 2 see e kids' parents beaming when they see their children having a gd time..well,i think i didnt do such a fantastic job coz i'm still kinda inexperienced in such events, but glad dat everything went on quite smoothly wif e help of e other volunteers. This is definitely a memorable day & meaningful experience 4 me!
