an enjoyable day
tired & wif an aching body frm sleeping on e floor without a pillow..ytd spent a nite @ a pheonix hotel deluxe rm wif bout 20 pple..it was a bizcom gathering..initially it was still quite enjoyable gambling wif cards & having personal talks wif a few frenz..then later e guyz made so much noise & we received complaints so we had 2 quieten down..since there was nth much 2 do..we went down 2 maxwell food centre 2 haf late supper..later when we went back we were act told 2 check out coz e management found out bout e large no. of pple in e rm..but after some compromising,we were allowed 2 stay in..so in end most of us went 2 sleep..but it was really uncomfortable & i cldnt sleep well..so i was so grateful 4 my comfy bed when i reached home.
anywae,b4 i went down 2 e hotel 2 meet jer & e others,i was @ "popo's" hse..she invited us 2 her hse sorta 4 a farewell gathering..coz she wld be leaving 4 France wif her hubby on mon & may stay there 4 a few mths..i finally gt 2 see her doggy..she's so cute!!!haha..but she's people-shy so it was quite hard 2 play wif her..coz e moment u go near her..she'll recoil haha..she'll only stick near u when u r eating haha..anywae quite alot of pple came,frenz of my popo & her hubby..lao lao also brought her 3 kids along..so after lunch,e 'children under 21' played card games while e adults gambled...haha e fun part came when suddenly some of e adults were kinda interested in joining in wif e game i was teaching some 2 play - e 'stock market' game..so 11 of us played it together..& most interestingly of all,it was e 1st time i played tis game wif pple of diff ages..e youngest was 7 yrs old & e oldest was in her late thirties..haha..but every1 really joined in e fun & had a great time..we were like laughing so much..then later every1 was tired out frm e game so we changed 2 'zong ji mi ma' & i was so suay..i hit e "jackpot" 3 times consecutively & 2 more times after a few more rounds..so e forfeit was 2 eat otahs & fishballs..& guess wat i ended up wif 10 otahs & 6 fishballs..e otah was kinda hot & i was so full after eating..& they kept laughing @ me coz i was so suay..so bad hor..haha..e last game we played was murderer & we had some laughs too coz lao lao's youngest son was so obvious when he was e murderer or e detective..haha..well it really was a great gathering..coz can see dat every1 enjoyed themselves..e saddest part was e time 2 say goodbye..tears welled up in popo's eyes when joawen,SL,gong gong & me were leaving..even gong gong's eyes were kinda red..i was trying 2 control myself too..well guess popo will miss us all as much as we wld miss her too..so really hope 2 see her back soon!
