my tired heart
met cand & hui in e afternoon @ causeway pt 4 some catching up. after dat i went 2 town 2 meet ling, min & jinx. it was sort of a super belated bdae celebration 4 me coz we didnt haf e chance 2 meet up since i came back frm korea. anywae ling passed me a postcard which she wrote 4 me & there was a quote dat she came across & decided 2 write it 2 me: "Perhaps God wants you to meet many different people so that when you meet the right one, you'll be grateful and thankful for that..."
then again, i picked up a line frm a storybook i juz completed todae: "she was tired - tired of searching, hoping, and waiting for something special to happen in her life." i guess dat describes exactly how i feel..well except dat i'll simply correct e "special" to a "better". my tired heart is devoid of feelings, yet only filled wif disappointment...
