had a mid-autumn celebration at csl todae..e kids were really noisy & it was a tough job trying to maintain order during e whole activity..but the amt of noise they made also showed how much fun & joy they were having..& e sense of satisfaction dat we derived frm seeing e smiles on their faces definitely made it worthwhile. i was touched when a little gal whom i only knew todae coz she was in my group came over 2 give me a hug b4 she went back to her room after e activity ended..it really brightens me up when those who receive our service show their appreciation & gratitude towards us..even if they dun, we noe dat wat we haf done haf somehow made a little difference in their lives. They may nt be able to rem us or even e things we haf done for them, but at least deep in our hearts, we noe dat we haf touched their lives in some way or another. it doesnt matter if e receiving party doesnt noe or acknowledge wat we've done for them, ultimately it is tis spread of love & hope to these pple dat counts...
actually tis applies to relationships as well..it doesnt matter whether or nt if there is a happie ending, afterall is wat u've put in dat counts. i guess one of e hardest lessons in life is to learn how to love without expecting to be loved in return..
well i'm learning it...
