had an outing wif CSL kids today at Pasir Ris Park. games were planned for them & as a group leader, i had to lead e kids thru e various stations. but it was really tough & draining..coz some kids didnt cooperate, while some kept complaining & refused to listen..all in all, it was a mess..& i even witnessed e incident of a boy frm my grp who shouted at one of e CSL staff when she merely juz picked on his behavior..it kinda stunned me..coz he was really rude & he ran off after dat..frm dat pt of time i was feeling helpless & getting abit frustrated..but fortunately things turned for e better after dat..after lunch, e kids kept harping on wanting to cycle..we had no choice but to let them haf their way..so i followed 2 kids all e way as they cycled & played at the playground. it was really tiring after e whole activity but then i cld see at least e kids had more or less enjoyed themselves..one kid still told me dat she had alot of fun today & asked me if they can come back another time. well i guess tis r e times when we feel dat at least our efforts haf nt gone down e drain. dealing wif these kids can be frustrating at times as sometimes, e kids dun seem to noe how to appreciate what is being done for them & they tend to take things for granted. yah but cant blame them coz they r kids afterall..they'll learn when they grow up. tml will be having X'mas celebration for touch seniors which i noe will turn out great coz at least we noe dat e elderly will appreciate us & e things we do for them=)
