a suay thing happpened to me today..i lost my ex-link card!haf bout 10 bucks of value in it plus i'm using hybrid concession..but luckily only left 3 days b4 e concession is due..or else i wld haf wasted more money. i dropped my card @ bugis coz i last used it to come out of bugis mrt stn..but juz dunno where i dropped it..though it was nt too long then i realised i lost it..most prob shld haf slipped out of my shallow jeans back pocket..hai..really hope e person who picks it up will be a kind soul & return it 2 NUS coz mine is a tertiary card so has my uni logo & my matric no..then i dun hafta spend extra money 2 get a new one..*praying hard*
anyway went 2 bugis today 2 do "field work" 4 a project wif my 2 project mates. we r supposed to observe e shopping & tourist experience in S'pore so we decided to take bugis as our research site. we hit bugis junction & bugis village 2 talk 2 tourists & locals about whether they bargain when buying stuffs. we also approached some shopkeepers to ask them bout pple bargaining at their shops. think it was quite an interesting experience to get 2 talk 2 these pple..haha..coz some of them r really quite friendly..except for one funny encounter..when a guy we approached to ask questions "approached" us back in e end..some pple can really be desperate huh..well but all in all, we had quite alot of fun doing tis "field work"..& we ended up buying earrings 4 ourselves in e midst of it haha. luckily i can kinda click wif these 2 gals & think they seem like they make pretty gd project mates too.. think dat's most impt coz u need responsible group mates 2 produce a gd project & e best is 2 also enjoy e process of working together.
