today's our first Touch visit since we stopped our visits during e exam period. today there are new elderlys whom we r attached to & my group was assigned to visit an elderly couple..an 83 yr old woman who's taking care of her 93 yr old husband. e woman is still quite strong & she definitely does not look 83..she looks so much younger. but she can be quite demanding haha coz she expects pretty high standards from us when we do housework for her. her husband is more of e quiet type but once we started engaging him in a conversation, he starts talking non-stop le haha. luckily he speaks cantonese..finally we haf an elderly who speaks canto so i can understand & at least converse a little in it. but coz he has abit of dementia so he wld sometimes repeat what he says or asks..so cute haha. pardon me for describing elderlys as "cute" but dat's wat i like to use to describe them.
we only managed to visit one elderly today coz e other elderly was taking her nap so we didnt want to disturb her. anyway after e visit, we headed over to Denise's house for her housewarming. she's gt a really nice private hse! we made our own popiah & ate other food dat her mum prepared. after which we played charades for a while b4 we went home. another quite enjoyable day=)
