after 3 mths of working, here's some afterthoughts...
i haven been keeping track of e time becoz of how busy i've been..but now i've cum to realised dat 3 mths of hol haf flown by. well i don't really feel e loss..coz at least i think i've pretty much utilized myself tis hol..e only sad thing is dat i nv really gt to enjoy myself =( it was mainly work, work & more work. for e 1st 2 mths, i was doing more of marketing & sales..& only entirely moved into e events line in e 3rd mth..which was also e busiest period for me..but i did learn alot frm it. juz tis short period of time in tis line has already shown me e true nature of e job..how dynamic and challenging it can be..& has also exposed me to quite alot of things. here's wat i've learnt bout working in e events line:
it's important to:
1) understand your clients and tailor your service to their needs and wants
2) be quick-minded and on the ball at all times
3) be creative, especially in churning ideas
4) be able to multi-task
5) be observant and attentive
6) be consistent in doing follow ups
all in all, it's been a gd learning ground for me. it's now time for me to juz rest & relax and get myself prepared for a new academic semester. frankly speaking, i feel happie bout going back to sch to study. working is always tougher..& definitely tiring..esp in e events line when e hrs r irregular and sometimes we hafta get out of e office to meet clients or go for site visits. & our leisure time has to be compromised. i realised dat working for e past 3 mths has somehow made me feel older, probably becoz of e pple i meet & e things i do. but now i can get back to my life as b4 =) it's time to feel young again! haha.
