i gave up on waiting for my ez-link card to be returned to me so i made a replacement today. there goes my 21 bucks=( now i'm only waiting to collect my refund next wk..hope i can get at least 70% of it back.

well sch so far has been quite ok for me. today i sat in for one of my major module lecture & e lecturer's method of teaching seems a little different frm other lecturers'. instead of getting into e lecture proper after some introduction of e module, e lecturer asked us wat we expected to learn frm tis module & she went one round in e lecture theatre hearing our views. most of us wanted to have more hands-on experience rather than juz learning all e theoretical stuffs. but looks like she already has more practical work planned for us which we all think it's gd.

in uni, wat we r mostly exposed to r theories & essay-writing..we haf little chance to apply wat we learn in real life scenarios. dat's wat i feel is lacking in us, uni students. juz take for example, when i was working during e holiday, i realised dat watever i had learnt in sch had no use or relation to wat i was doing..i mean i'm doing Communications in uni..& wat i'm doing at work is also part of Communications. but it seems like how i cld survive there was based on wat i've learnt while i was on e job & of course also based on some of my experiences dealing with projects in my cca, but nt on wat i've learnt at sch. so dat's pretty bad rite? which is y i'm glad i took up tis apprenticeship job during e hol..at least i gained some experience & also haf sth to write on my resume.

anyway i foresee a challenging sem ahead of me coz e modules i'm taking tis sem seems to be more hands-on..which is sth i'm in favour of. except dat it might mean it'll be a heavy sem for me, especially during e project period. but nevertheless, i'll ganbatte!
