Joa & i did our part for Tulip Hearts Day today, selling e handmade silk-cocooned tulips to raise funds for the Children's Cancer Foundation's beneficiaries.
To applaud the courage and determination of young children afflicted with cancer, CCF dedicates a special day to them - Tulip Hearts Day.
it has been sort of like a "tradition" for us to do our part for Tulip Hearts Day ever since we started out 2 yrs ago. but tis yr, "business" was pretty bad..wonder was it e pple or was it coz of e place we were at? we used to do it at Bugis but decided to try out a different location tis time. however "business" was quite bad so we had to move frm Chinatown to Tiong Bahru & lastly to Plaza Singapura. well at least, we did our best to get some donations =)
had a meaningful wkend..& it's back to campus for another wk of lessons again. how i wish e wkend cld be longer!
