i pretty much enjoyed my self-declared break=) after my touch visit, i headed over to ling's place. ling cooked spaghetti for lunch & i helped her wif it as well as learned how she did it. (coz i only noe how to cook e simplest form of spaghetti haha) so after lunch we started our mahjong session. min wasnt able to make it at e last min but luckily we had JL to replace her. & guess wat?i was e big winner! haha act nt dat big..i only won 7 bucks but it's gd enuf=) anyway after playing one round of mj ,we left ling's hse to meet min & her fren, giselle who was joining us for dinner.
initially, we planned to haf dinner at "Out of the Pan" at The Raffles Marketplace but we had to wait for quite some time for a table even though min had made reservations before we arrived. so we decided to try out a new restaurant, Aerin's (also at e basement level) instead since they havent gotten us a table. e 5 of us shared 3 main courses coz e price of e food there was slightly steeper. but i wld say e food is quite gd! we didnt get to try out e desserts there coz min had a craving for Chippy's Fried Mars Bar. so we had a upsized bowl of it & it was saccharinely yummy!
after dat, we went to citylink mall but when most of e shops were starting to close, we settled down at Coffee & Toast & had ice milo dinosaur while we chit-chatted for an hr or so, with our main focus on jinx & her mysterious "stranger" haha. then it was time to leave & giselle drove us home. yeah saved us e time of travelling back home on e train=)

had my advertising strategies project meeting at Marina's Sq's Mac today morning. luckily we dun hafta go all e way back to campus for e meeting coz we felt dat central area will be more convenient for everyone. after a 2hr discussion, i had to rush off for my tuition.
talking bout tuition gives me a headache again. my tutee's mum called me again after tuition today. & she has cum to e decision of not letting her daughter & her friend haf tuition together anymore. coz today her daughter went out after tuition without informing her at all. act i knew she was going out but i didnt noe dat she didnt inform her mum. i thought all along when she went out she wld let her mum noe but apparently, it's nt e case. her mum said her daughter has been slipping out of e hse without informing her. & i guess she thinks dat her daughter's friend has been a bad influence. well..frankly speaking, i think it's e other way round.
but anyway so now i'm supposed to be giving them seperate tuition..which is sth i act did nt want in e 1st place dat's y i only agreed to teach my tutee's friend if they can haf e tuition together. little did i noe it wld turn out tis way coz i initially thought maybe having tuition together will help them motivate each other. but now dat i've started tuitioning her friend, it's quite bad if i drop her juz like tis coz i can see she really needs some help in her studies. but having 2 seperate tuition sessions means it'll be taking up more of my time.
well i guess tis arrangement will be good for them so i'll go wif it for e time being 1st.
