tml's mid-autumn festival (or some refer it to mooncake/lantern festival)! well i personally prefer 2 refer it 2 mooncake festival..guess y?haha coz i like 2 eat mooncakes! esp snow-skin ones. but i haven gt much chance to eat them except for e 1 dat we bought frm JB e other time & e durian one my sis's bf gave us..e real durian flesh inside is quite nice but e snow-skin is abit flaky. act my sis intended 2 get me e wild strawberry yoghurt mooncake frm Mariott coz i read bout it in e newspapers & told her i wanna try..but e day she decided 2 get it, it was completely out of stock! boohoo..looks like i probably can only get 2 try it next yr. but act i think i still prefer mooncakes wif e traditional fillings like lotus paste. i'm juz curious 2 try out new flavors =)
welll growing up has changed lotsa things..like e celebration of mid-autumn festival, esp wif my family. i rem when i was younger, my family (wif my aunt & cousins) wld bring me 2 Chinese garden, Bishan park or at e area below my block 2 carry lanterns, play wif candles as well as savour mooncakes & pomelo. at home, i wld sometimes light up a lantern & hang it near e window or sometimes, place a lantern beside my bed & juz watch it glow..haha. kinda miss those times when i get excited bout playing wif lanterns & candles. & wld luv to go back 2 having dat kind of feeling again.
guess wat? tml i get 2 try reviving those feelings!haha. coz my ex-company is having a mid-autumn festival celebration @ my bosses' place tml evening..they still gave it a name - Tales of Mid Autumn Dream. haha..wonder wat they haf in store. & after e celebration, i'll be going over 2 cand & jer's place for our very own mini mid-autumn celebration. haha act it's cand & i who r keen on reminiscing our childhood mid-autumn celebrations which is y we came up wif tis idea. alright, hope it'll be a gd day tml coz it's also e end of e wk!
