met ling again today. i've been meeting her for 3 days tis wk le..seems like we cant get enuf of each other ya..haha.. but anyway we didn't go shopping today but still had a fruitful day!
we went to amk for lunch then went to e library to search for e jewellery-making books again.. we also had a look @ some dessert books & were tempted to make a dessert for ourselves. so @ ling's place, refering to e recipe and with e ingredients we bought, we started making Panacota (a kind of custard-like dessert). then sth happened! an accident which cld haf caused us to be disfigured! coz e glass pot which we were boiling the milk with exploded suddenly & e glass pieces flew in all directions, some of e pieces were juz merely a cm away frm my feet coz ling & i were standing by e sink. it really was a close shave! if we werent @ e sink trying to remove a piece of egg shell frm e egg white, we or one of us cld haf been somewhere near e stove when e accident happened & dat means e flying glass wld haf cut us. oh gosh..it really was veri scary..imagine wat wld haf happened to us if we were somewhere closer to e stove. we were really lucky..thank god.
so after taking some time to clear up e whole mess, though still slightly in shock, we resumed our dessert-making. then while waiting for e mixture to solidify, we started working on our earrings. & despite dat it was our 1st attempt, we managed to successfully complete 2 similar sets of asymmetrical crystal earrings! & we r so proud of ourselves coz we think e earrings look quite pretty! haha.(too bad our hp cameras cant capture them nicely..when ling takes a clearer photo of e earrings, i'll post it up!) anyway we intend to make more different types of earrings & sell them, most probably online.
feel so satisfied today =) coz we managed to do quite alot of things, made our own Panacota (which i haven tried so dunno if it tastes good haha), did our 1st 2 pair of earrings & even cooked our own dinner - creamy pasta wif ham & meatballs and cheese & salmon omelette..& bobo cha cha(those instant kind but we added our own chewy jelly). sooo yummy!
anyway i'm going to sentosa tml..to sun-tan! so hope e weather will be good. & cand is feeling sorta 烦..hope she'll feel better tml. dearie cand..i'll listen to u complain all u want tml k..so cheer up!
well & i'm gonna miss jer coz she's going on her china trip tml & will be away for 10 days! dun think she'll get to see my blog b4 she leaves. but anyway hope she'll haf a gd trip & 'm waiting for her to be back!
