i'm back frm my reunion dinner @ my aunt's place. really cant believe dat e lunar new year has arrived (ok almost..in juz an hr's time). well, but truthfully, there isnt a single trace of chinese new yr mood in me..probably coz i've been so busy for e past few wks dat i wasnt in time to get into e mood.
though i'm nt e least excited bout chinese new yr tis yr, i'm still feeling rather happie..coz it's e mid-sem break! yes..finally some time to take a breather..though i still haf assignments to submit after e break but i dun care, i muz take tis chance to search for some inner peace..& to haf some fun!
talking bout fun, ytd i had a rather good time. after my test (which is a goner), i went for this complimentary aroma facial. did help eased e tensions in me..with e massage & e smell of e essential oils. in e evening, we met for a belated bdae celebration for jinx. we went to Chocs for dinner, & sorta made a spectacle of ourselves there..but mainly in front of the staffs working there..'m pretty sure they will rem us..haha.
alright & back to today's reunion dinner. was pretty much e same as for e past few years. again, my grandpa wasnt able to join us for e dinner, only my grandma. is this really gonna be e case for our reunion dinners down e next few years? i really really miss those reunion dinners in e past, when e whole immediate family gathers at my grandparent's hse for e dinner, & returns to their hse for a larger, livelier gathering e next morning. dat's probably e main reason y i used to be so excited bout chinese new yr last time (other than the direct relation between excitedness and age). at least i wld feel like wearing new, pretty clothes & dolling myself up for chu yi where i get to see many relatives. now i only get to see a few relatives so i dun really feel e need to look exceptionally good =(
well i guess tis is e chinese new year i gotta get used to..things change wif time..juz hope dat tis year will be a good yr!
