i haf so many things to blog bout dat i dunno where i shld start frm..haha.
ok firstly, Happie Birthday to myself! coz it's my 22nd bday today..erm act in a matter of a few mins..it wldnt be le =(
anyway i shall start wif e dilemma i had been caught in. as mentioned in my previous post, i was offered a job which i am interested in but e pay is below my expectations. ytd, e person called & after i told him bout e pay thingy, he increased it slightly for me. & he said i had to make a decision by today..which was a really tough one for me coz i was scheduled for a 2nd interview wif another company tml. so if i accepted tis job, it means i will be forgoing e other opportunity..but then again if i dun accept it, i might be missing a gd opportunity.
well i was already quite keen to take up e job but desperately needed some advices frm friends. & most supported my decision to give e job a try so i was more or less decided by then. gotta really thank these friends who listened to my "fan nao" & gave me sensible advices..u all noe who u r...thanx so much!=) so i've officially taken up the job on my bday and have signed e contract. at least now i feel less "fan" & juz hope i made e right decision!
okie now back to my bday!
ytd i received a big surprise frm dar! i nv expected dat she'll turn up below my blk when e clock struck 12 last nite. & she gave me a scare by cuming up wif a plot. she called me at bout 11 plus when i was busy talking to frenz on msn & told me she brought her doggie, Brownie (who is my gan nu-er) to my hse but Brownie ran off when she saw a cat and cant be found..she sounded veri anxious & upset and asked me to go down to help look for Brownie. so i was like so "gan jiong" & rushed down in my inappropriate attire..& in e end, i was given a shock by my gan nu-er who jumped up when she sensed my presence and by jl who was holding on to my lighted bday cake. was really surprised & touched dat both dar & jl came down wif my gan nu-er specially at 12am to spring a bday surprise on me! & bought me a cake & chocolate eclair & drinks too..so sweet of them ya =p anyway we sat below my blk to eat e cake and also to open e present dar thoughtfully packaged for me. thanx so much dar! i'm really touched! =)
as for today, which is my actual bday, jer, cand, sera & i met up for breakfast at macs b4 we went to jer's place for mahjong. ok actually mj was nt in our plans for today..we had initially planned to go to mac ritchie's tree top walk..nt to celebrate my bday..but juz some activity we had planned e wk b4 & so happened we chose to do it on my bday. but becoz of my job thingy, we were unable to carry out our initial plan. i'm really sorrie to jer, cand & sera..esp cand who had been enthusiastically planning for our 'back to nature' activities tis wk. but i didnt expect such a thing will crop up at e last min. sorry dear gals!
but we still had some fun playing mj..although they almost wanted to ostracize me for winning quite a few rounds in e beginning..but coz i am e bday gal..they were slightly more forgiving..haha. but in e end i only won 1 dollar & jer, who was intially veri pek cek wif her lousy mj luck won in e end coz of e last few rounds which she won big..haha. anyway really wanna thank jer, cand & sera for spending e day wif me!
anyway after mj, i went down to e company to sign e contract b4 i met dar for dinner. we went to ichiban boshi at novena square for jap food as suggested by me..& after dat, dar had craving for chocolate fondue & so we went to max brenner's at esplanade. i simply luv e choc fondue there..it's definitely e best out of all i haf eaten b4! after dessert, we walked as well as took occassional rests along e way to raffles place mrt where we headed home. really muz thank dar again for accompanying me today..& she sacrificed her class today to spend e evening wif me..didnt noe she had class or else wldnt ask her out le. thanx for everything dar!
okie by e time i finished writing tis post, my bday is over. well happy to say that though there is nth exceptionally planned for tis yr's bday but it has been quite well spent wif my dear frenz! though i still haf a few frenz whom i haven gt to meet up wif yet..but will do so tis & next wk as well! & am happy to receive all e sweet bday msges frm my frenz =) thanx to those who msged me & r reading my blog!!!
