i'm back & am here to blog bout my wonderful batam trip!

on fri, we were met by our tour guide at e ferry terminal at Batam where we embarked on our trip to various places..temples, local food product shops, e polo shop, a shopping mall & even gt to enjoy a seafood lunch..e food was nt too bad..at least there were crab, prawns, cuttlefish, sambal kang kong etc. & we gt to eat A&W at e shopping mall! ate e greatly-missed ice-cream waffle & rootbeer float! anyway we only gt to return to our hotel pretty late coz e coach bus had to send those who were returning to Spore 1st as well as a few others to their hotels. so we were e last one to get back to our hotel & had nt had our dinner yet..which was to be eaten at e hotel restaurant. so we had our dinner prepared for us while we went to our rooms to unpack. we chose e western menu & e food was quite nice..& best of all, we had e whole restaurant to ourselves haha.

after dinner, we went to explore e hotel for a while b4 heading back to our rooms. we had our baths and then gathered at ling & jl's room to play e beanie game i brought along. after 2 rounds of e game, we played e "stock market" game i introduced to them..which gt us laughing alot. finally when we were all tired, we headed back to our rooms. but in e end, joa, ling, jl & i stayed up talking in our room, coz ling was scared after she heard a loud bang in her room and she didnt dare to sleep. but after bout 2 hrs, we eventually fell asleep.

next day started off wif a buffet breakfast then we gt ready for our spa which we had scheduled wif e hotel e day b4. i went for e full body treatment since it was quite worth it as there was a 1-for-1 promotion. it's my 1st time going for spa & e 110mins spa was "shuang"...a great way of pampering myself =) anyway after e spa, we went to soak ourselves in e jacuzzi b4 we went back to our rooms to wash up & pack up our stuffs.

after we checked out, we were sent to batam ferry centre where there was a mall nearby. as min had to get back to spore earlier, she & giselle took e earlier ferry while e rest of us took a 2 hrs later ferry so we had more time to shop. we had pizza hut & guess wat, it was really cheap! we had a chessy bites pizza & 2 side dishes & drinks, & it only costs us bout S$6 each! where can we get such cheap price at pizza hut in spore? & wat's more e pizza hut there has a wide variety of food & drinks..alot which cant be found in spore. anyway after some shopping..though there was really nth much to shop there..we ate again..haha..had donuts at tis popular shop selling various flavoured donuts..we even bought home some. well finally it was time to get on e ferry to retun to spore.

though there werent really much nice places to shop or see during tis trip..but e food there is cheap! we also had a really nice & friendly tour guide & e tour went on smoothly. most importantly, the company was great which made e trip enjoyable. i wish we can go on more trips together next time!
