thanx to those who wished me good luck on my 1st day at work! appreciate it lots! =)

my 1st day at work wasn't bad nor good..it was in fact rather boring..coz i did nt haf anything to do! e person whom i'll be replacing took urgent leave & so she was nt ard to to brief me on my job scope as well as on my client's (which is IBM) account. so my day juz comprised of a company orientation in e morning, reading my client's guidelines, reading Her World & Cleo (coz i had nth else to read le), flipping through some of e past print collaterals produced by e company, & finally attending an internal meeting at e end of e day. they havent set up a laptop for me so i wasnt able to use e internet until later of e day when they let me use a desktop for e time being. i hope i can get to use a laptop of my own soon.

anyway guess e best thing for e day was e lunch treat given by my boss haha. he brought me & another rather new colleague to lunch at tis Kopitiam Singapore Restaurant at Raffles City..nv knew there was such a restaurant..haha..but e durian pudding is quite gd!=p

well e day did nt end for me after work. i still had driving lessons. my 1st time having e lesson so late & having to drive when it's pretty dark..abit scary coz cant see e cars clearly with all e blinding lights. anyway juz a few more lessons & i'll be taking my practical exam le..scared =(

alrite, i guess i had better retire to bed soon..or else i'll be yawning away at e office like i did today..haha. hope i'll get to start picking up new stuffs tml & can begin working on my client's account!
