tis week has been quite relaxed too..but somehow i cant entirely relax coz of e pressure of working under a demanding superior..well she can be ok at times..but still her mood is unpredictable..& she can be a terror when she starts raising her voice. i guess dat's e toughest & e most dreaded part of tis job for me..but wat can i do..i can only 忍.
alrite shitty things aside..i've pretty much utilised my free time tis wk..meeting up wif frenz, doing e things i enjoy & having more rest. but dunno y, i end up being more tired in e morning & haf problems dragging myself out of bed when e alarm rings. oops. anyway here's some of e stuffs i did.
Tues - nth much on tis day, juz a short meetup wif xiaoqi & daren over dinner at Lau Pa Sat and we were mainly talking bout work. it seems like work has become e key topic among frenz who r working..seems boring isnt it? but actually it feels gd dat there r frenz to share work problems & gossips wif.
Thurs - waited for cand to end her work b4 we headed down to haf our fav Founder bah ku teh. it feels so good to be drinking e warm, tasty bah ku teh soup again..yum yum! anyway we didnt stay out for long coz it was bout 10pm when we finished our meal.
Fri - had ktv planned for e night, wif jinx, ling & jl. i was supposed to find sth to occupy myself wif b4 ktv which started at 10pm coz ling had classes & jinx had her cca elections. fortunately, last min i found company! met yun for dinner at TCC..been quite some time since we met up coz she has also been pretty occupied wif work. anyway after e dinner & some catching up, i went down to chinatown for my long-awaited singing session! e last time i went ktv was b4 i started work..which means it has been more than 4 mths since i last sang! after e session, we went to haf yummy frog leg's porridge for dinner b4 taking a cab home. & i KO right away when i reached home.
Today - had to drag myself out of bed at 9am coz i finally found time to go for Touch visit. i've been missing quite a few visits & told myself i muz go for e visit today. anyway today they had mid-autumn celebration for e elderly..where we played some simple games with them. so nice to see these elderly again..& also seeing how enthu most of them r when playing e games! =) however i didnt get to stay throughout e celebration as in e middle of it, i went off wif some other volunteers to do grocery shopping for an elderly. she had so many things to buy..& it was actually quite fun going ard NTUC finding e stuffs..haha..
after we were done, some of e volunteers had lunch at e usual hawker centre together. really miss e feeling of going for visits..e happy chats wif e elderlys and e light-hearted banter among e volunteers during e visits. now dat i'm working, i cant commit to e regular visits & somehow, it doesnt feel e same as it did when everyone was still studying in uni. gosh..i'm missing my life as before again =(
