Day 1
anyway arrived at Cameron Highlands at bout 6am e next day..had a quick but filling breakfast b4 getting fetched over to our hotel. as it was nt time to check in, guess wat we did to while away e time? a game of pool! coz they had a couple of pool tables in e hotel lobby. gt my parents to give e game a try as they've nv played it b4 in their lives..& they seemed to enjoy it..it was funny..seeing my parents wif their weird poses & expressions as they try to get e ball in..haha..
after checking in, we went down for lunch at the hotel cafe & then waited for e bus to bring us on our leisure tour..but e bus was super late..for almost an hr! when e bus finally arrived, we were on our way to visit various places like Rose Centre, Strawberry Farm, Honey Bee Farm etc !
after e tour, e bus dropped us at Brinchan where we had Steamboat for dinner. i was craving for it since morning when e tour guide mentioned that we shld try their steamboat as their vegetables r very fresh. anyway e tom yam soup we had was good & helped warm us up on a chilly night =p there was actually a flea market there, but we decided to give it a miss & caught e earlier shuttle van back to our hotel. watched tis xmas movie on tv for a while b4 surrendering to e Z monster coz i cldnt keep my eyes opened anymore. Day 2
headed down very early for our buffet breakfast (my fav!) as we had to catch e coach to malacca. was on e road for bout 5 hrs b4 we reached malacca & e tour guide brought us for our city tour after lunch. e places we visited were mainly temples & historical buildings..pretty boring actually haha..anyway after we were done wif e tour, we were sent to e hotel. didnt stay in e hotel for long b4 heading down to e new shopping mall..patronized quite a few shops but bought nth in e end. anyway guess who we saw there? tis taiwanese singer - 卓文宣 coz happened dat she was having her 签名会 there..though e crowd was quite pathetic..in fact everything there looked pathetic..there were no backdrops or posters of her..poor her..dat's y i cldnt really figure out dat it was her until i tried peeping at e album someone was holding..haha.
after we were done wif exploring e new shopping centre, we settled for dinner at Kenny Rogers. but realised their cheese macaroni is nt as nice as e ones here. anyway e last program for e day was a stroll down the night market at Jonker Walk..e place was pretty packed & my mum & i ended up losing my dad & sis there..luckily we spotted them when we were on our way to head back to our hotel. back at our hotel, we realised we could access channel 8 on their tv so my sis & i stayed up to watch e golden horse awards until we cldnt stay awake anymore.
3rd & last day
started e day wif my fav buffet breakfast again & tis time e spread was better! after breakfast, we visited one of e historical buildings & took some pics there..then headed down to Jonker Street to patronize some of their souvenir shops. & i bought chicken rice balls there..it's one of e food dat Malacca is famous for..so i insisted on buying a packet to try though i was quite full frm e heavy breakfast we had. finally it was time to head back to e hotel to check out..after which we gt on to e coach & was on our way back to Singapore.
yup so dat practically sums up my trip..i've already tried leaving out as many details as i can in case it bores u all..haha.. in fact it's exactly 1 wk since i left for e trip..it's amazingly fast rite..sigh..i'm missing e trip...
but at least i've another trip to look forward to tis sat..though it's only a day trip..but it's wif my dear friends & sis..so i believe it's gonna be another great trip! =)
