well it was a right choice made dat i didnt haf any plans for fri..coz i ended up staying till 10 plus in e office..& i was supposed to meet ling to get sth frm her..so took a cab down to her place after i ended work. it was then when i had an interesting encounter..being a kind soul (haha), i agreed to share a cab with tis guy whose destination was not too far frm tanjong pagar and ended up earning myself 10 bucks! but i didnt haf e intention to take his money..coz when he wanted to pay me, i told him frankly dat i cld claim for e cab fare so he didnt need to pay me..but he insisted, saying he had to be a gentleman & shoved e $10 note into my bag..so i eventually accepted it. but seriously, if he had hired a cab on his own, it wld surely haf costed him less than 10 bucks. anyway i guess e interesting part was as total strangers, we cld actually hold a conversation thru out e cab ride..haha.
anyway, i arrived at ling's place only at bout 11 plus, coz e cab driver actually missed e guy's destination & we had to make one whole round back to e place. ling came down to meet me at e nearby prata place where i had my super late dinner and she had her supper. we then headed back to her hse..supposedly to churn out some new items for our jewelry business..but ended up making ourselves a pair of earrings each to compliment our CNY outfits! mine is a unique pair of bling bling earrings i designed for myself =) but it took me quite some time and i left her place ard 3am..totally concussed by e time i gt home..oh yah & e 10 bucks i "earned" was used to cover e cab fare back..haha.
well today, i splurged quite abit just in half a day. went for eyelash perming at Citylink's Fave Nails with my sis & cand coz we wanna look pretty for CNY =p after which, my sis left for her own activity while cand & i wanted to go for dinner 1st b4 going shopping, whereby e main objective was for cand to get her CNY dress. BUT her objective was nt met..though we did haf our shopping bags filled wif shoes and working clothes. so glad i managed to get myself a pair of heels for my CNY dress without much difficulty! anyway by then, we were famished & went to Cartel for dinner, followed by finding some place to chill out. initially i suggested CHIJMES, so we walked over there..but then i felt like going to some place wif a live band so there's more atmosphere..thus i suggested Timbre. but when we reached e place, there was a long queue & we decided to juz head over to Ice Cold Bear in e nearby SMU building for our drinks. so we juz sat there, drank, chit-chat & watched e soccer match dat was telecasted on e big screen till 11 plus to catch e train home.
so now i'm back home dropping off tis post before i head to bed..i'm supposed to be doing some work but doubt i can sustain much longer..so decided dat i shall get up earlier tml to do it..followed by starting my 1st tuition lesson for e year. after which, i'll be accompanying cand (again!) to town to get her CNY dress which she has failed to get for e past few times we went shopping. she better get sth tml..& nt make it another wasted trip, & worse make me spend my money coz it seems like i'll end up getting sth for myself haha.
k as much as i dun wish for my sat to end..i still need my sleep..so i'm off to bed very soon!
