started my sat wif e occassional bball session dat e S8 gals had initially targeted to make as a monthly event..however due to our clashing schedules, it was nt dat possible. but at least, we did haf e chance to get back on court bout 2 mths after e last session. it was another great game - 5 matches in total..& i was surprised by e accuracy of my goal-shooting for ytd..haha. anyway dragged my sleepy self home after e game & went back into a deep sleep. then gt up to do some stuffs b4 heading out to meet joa for some shopping & dinner.
as requested by joa for me to pick my own bday present, i managed to do dat in e 1st shop dat i entered..amazingly quick rite..haha..but which was actually a good thing so we cld start deciding on our dinner venue since we were getting kinda hungry. i had a craving for Crystal Jade's Xiao Long Bao..& fortunately there was one outlet at Taka..but e queue was super long..so we tried our luck at e Crystal Jade Kitchen at e basement level as well. after having selected e dishes we wanted & waited for more than 45 mins at e Xiao Long Bao restaurant..we decided to give up & check out e Crystal Jade Kitchen to see if e queue was moving faster there. fortunately we were ushered in e moment we enquired bout our queue status. at least our long wait didnt exactly go down e drain.
after dinner, we walked down to e TCC at PS for a slice of marble cheesecake & coffee..though poor joa only managed to drink half of e espresso she ordered (when e glass was already so tiny) coz it was really bitter. anyway as always, we provide good company to each other for chit-chats & heart-to-heart talks =) thanks twin, for offering to meet me for my bday & also for e present!
as my tuition had been cancelled, i met dear today for breakfast..a very last min decision made after past midnight e day b4..was planning to haf Burger King's breakfast..so we met at Outram Park which was more central for both of us. but after i started mentioning bout my ytd's craving for Xiao Long Bao & nt having to eat it, we switched plans to having dim sum for breakfast instead without much thinking. so we found a dim sum place which sells Xiao Long Bao - Yum Cha at Chinatown. yeah i finally had my craving satisfied! =p anyway after e breakfast, we started walking ard & ended up at Central Square area..where we briefly explored e restaurants & cafes there..well another place to be added on to our list of dating places =)
i went home in e afternoon but headed out again wif my parents for dinner at Central coz my mum wanted to watch tis water art performance thingy on e boat quay river..quite an interesting sight though i was also quite eager to get home coz it was pretty crowded & stuffy there.
well it's another work week again..as usual, i wont be able 2 predict the type of projects which will be coming in..but i guess one thing to be happy bout is dat tis coming week will be my 1st year anniversary wif my job..it's nt dat kind of anniversary dat is worth celebrating bout..but at least i can safely say "i quit" anytime when i'm unable to take it anymore..haha. alright guess i shall end off here & prepare for bed soon.
