i counted down to year 2009 wif dear at Esplanade ytd. we actually got ourselves a seat near e bay since 6pm and sat there all e way till e countdown was over, juz so to witness e splendid fireworks display. it was happening right b4 our eyes and was a beautiful moment especially when spent wif my special someone by my side =) anyway after e countdown, we went to join dear's friend at The Mind Cafe for a few rounds of games till past 4am and then took a cab back home thereafter. seems like i spend each year's New Year's Eve quite differently and i wish to continue doing so down e years!
well i've decided not to list out my New Year resolutions this year coz looking back at my 2008 New Year's Day entry, i realised i didnt really fulfill e resolutions i set out for myself (except for going on a trip wif my friends)..so seems abit pointless to do so tis year haha. anyway i guess i kinda lost my direction in life after being so occupied wif work in e year 2008 and i need to find a new direction..but for now all i simply wish for in 2009 is to be happy and also to spend more quality time wif e people i love!
in fact i should say 2008 has been e best year for me so far coz of e presence of my dearest boy.. e one who has taken away all my unhappy memories and brightened up my life in ways dat no one ever did..i can never be more thankful for tis godsent gift to me =)
anyway, a Happy New Year to u guys out there! Cheers to a more fruitful and happiness-filled year ahead for us!!
