i didnt haf a least bit of CNY mood during tis CNY break. but it was indeed a good break coz it allowed me to sleep till noon on almost all 4 days haha. with so few visiting to do, i ended up having to find stuffs to make it not so boring. so shall sum up my programmes in one blog entry!
dear and i decided to explore new places for eating so we went to try out e Sapporo Ramen restaurant at Gallery Hotel and after dat we discovered a nearby cafe which served chocolatey desserts..abit similar to Max Brenner..it was a really nice relaxing feeling..juz leisurely reading magazines and enjoying a glass of iced black forest drink along with a souffle. anyway after dat, we still went to catch a late night movie, e local comedy 'Love Matters' but it was so so only.
as for sat, my family had steamboat for lunch and i went to meet dear at night after he returned frm jb..we went for drinks at a Hong Kong Cafe at JP wif his friend before heading back to his house for e night coz we had plans for e next day. yup so e next morning, we went for lunch at Novus Cafe at the National Museum..i read bout e place in someone's blog and thought it wld be a nice place to hang out on a lazy sunday noon..and best of all, without having to think bout work e next day. so we had filling sandwiches and cheesecake there..e cheesecake is quite good and it's big..had to takeaway half of it..haha. then of course at night was reunion dinner wif the usual family members at my aunt's place. was really full and sleepy after e dinner..so after i gt home to watch e countdown on tv, i surrendered to my bed.
didnt get to do any visiting on chu yi and stayed home to do work instead..pathetic ya? hai i miss waking up early on chu yi mornings to dress up and go over to my grandparents place for e family gathering. well anyway, i really didnt feel like wasting away e 2nd last day of my break stuck at home..so dear and i met up and we gave ourselves an ice cream treat at ben & jerry's at The Cathay since i had to utilise my voucher by end month. and then we went to catch a movie again..but to kill time b4 e movie started, dear psychoed me to play tis zombie game at some lan shop.well at least sth different frm our usual activities together..haha.
today i slept away another morning again coz was back quite late e night before..and then my aunt and cousin's family came over for lunch..gt to play wif my cutey nephew =) after dat, i went visiting at a relative's house and had dinner there b4 returning home.
okie dat's it for my 4 days of break..and i cant help lamenting y does it pass so fast. i guess most working pple like me feel e exact same way too. well it's back to e battle field again..shall fight till e weekend comes again!
