my full 3-day event was finally over last week, after having to travel to Changi Village at 7am for 3 consecutive days..and unlucky me was down wif sorethroat, cough and a red eye somemore. at least it's over..relieved!

so to reward myself, i tried to ensure that i had a relaxing weekend..explored 3 new cafes and chilled out at 2 usual ones =)

fri - went wif dear to 'New Harbour Cafe' (which was just near our workplace) for dinner. ambience isnt dat good but food is still quite ok. after dat, we walked down to Clark Quay and had drinks and dessert at Coffee Club. ended e night earlier than usual coz dear was meeting his friends and i decided to go home earlier to rest.

sat - met dear again in e afternoon..went to try out the cafe 'Passion' inside Esplanade library. wif comfy cushion couches, it's quite a nice place to read a book or relax & slack over a cuppa (we chose e latter coz we were too tired to start on a book..haha). after slacking enough, we went to e new Supreme Court public opening..e place is pretty big..9 levels in all..saw some exhibits and also got to sit in a courtroom to watch a re-enactment of a court proceeding. quite an interesting experience actually.

after dat, it was time for me to meet e RP gals for hui's bday celebration at tanjong pagar area. i was e organizer so i picked e restaurant after chancing upon it on a food blog..it's called 'Sweet Indulgence'..however, e food and desserts werent dat fantastic..and e main courses r pretty expensive (if not for e promotion - 1 free drink for every main course ordered and 1 free dessert for every 2 main courses ordered). guess e better part was e ambience. anyway after e dinner, cand & i went to hang out at cineleisure while jer & hui headed home. we had fruity ice-blended drinks at Gloria Jeans after dat..and it was home sweet home for me after jm came to look for cand.

sun - breakfast wif ling at AMK macs..followed by a mj session wif e rest of e clique at ling's place. played till bout 4 plus coz e rest had some programme in e evening..and then i headed home for a nap before starting on my work stuffs. i'm still nt done wif it..but feeling restless and brain is nt functioning well.

well shall go focus on it now so i can sleep by 12am. and as usual..i cant wait for fri to come again!
