dear & i celebrated our 1st anniversary on Good Friday..and we spent it all within Telok Blangah area!

first on e programme list was lunch at Bistro One Zero Three, some cafe i read bout on a food blog one day while looking out for new cafes and restaurants to explore. tis cafe has a rather cosy homely ambience. e food is quite good..and i like their Salt and Pepper Squid with Chilli Mayo! anyway after filling our tummies wif good food, we began our walk to Henderson Waves..but unfortunately, it started to rain e moment we gt there..luckily we had dear's big-enuf brollie, which sheltered us pretty well as we strolled along the long bridge. we managed to seek some shelter when it began to pour heavily and was stuck at e shelter area for some time. when e rain lessened, we continued our way and finally reached Henderson Waves! though we were walking with soaked shoes, our moods werent really dampened coz we had each other's company =)

anyway we went to Vivocity to dry ourselves wif e air-con and then walked ard looking for a dinner place. settled for Shin Kushiya, coz i was craving for sashimi again =p it was our first time trying their food..and it was nt too bad..at least e sashimi was thick & juicy! and coz they forgot to serve some of e items in our set dinner until we asked bout it, they offered us a complimentary macha ice-cream to apologise for their mistake..shows dat they haf good service! it was nt e end of e day for us after dinner..we headed down to our last destination which was in our original plans as well - Prive Bakery Cafe. but lousy me caused us to walk alot coz i mixed up e busstop dat we shld alight at. but anyway we arrived there after quite a long walk..and found ourselves a cosy corner while we sipped on our coffee and tea and had a heart-to-heart talk. and then it was home sweet home.

and ytd, dear & i met again for a movie after i went to 'sao mu' wif my family in e afternoon. for dinner, dear and i had our fav hokkien mee at e hawker street in town..yummy! we then went to e Hemisphere Cafe in Orchard OG for waffle ice-cream and ice milo float..and dat's where we exchanged our 1st Anniversary gifts. dear bought me a Calvin Klein bag which i had set my eyes on previously..though it was not meant to be a surprise coz he did tell me he was going to get it for me..but nevertheless, it was really nice of him to splurge on me and i love e bag! i didnt buy him a gift tis time but handmade sth for him..which i'm glad he appreciates =)

by e way, we caught the movie 'Handsome Suit' after dat..and it's a pretty nice show..funny and meaningful at e same time. think it's sth worth watching! anyway i took a night rider home after e movie and concussed on bed when i gt home.

since i've been out for e past 2 days, i decided to stay home today..to do my work and juz spare some time for myself..like watching tv, reading e papers, packing my cupboard, reading other pple's blogs, doing my own blogging, napping, putting on my facial mask etc..coz weekends r e only time i can afford to do all tis.
