here goes the long weekend..and the next long weekend is only in August =(

well at least i did make gd use of tis long weekend..

friday - had some labour day fun at jer's place in e morning..played Monopoly but got bored of it and switched to Texas hold 'em for more excitement haha. we had a pretty early lunch at e market nearby and cand, hui and i then headed down to amk hub to catch e movie 'Taken'. after dat, i went to meet dear and his family for dinner at Clementi..had cheap jap food at Sumo House and desserts later at IMM's Ajisan coz his parents love their ice-cream.

saturday - spent my morning proof-reading a 107-page guide..till dear came over to my place at bout 2pm after his paintball game..we then went for a swim at e swimming complex near my hse..we've finally made it happen after procrastinating for ages. lousy us only swam a couple of laps and were panting already..haha..so we ended up relaxing at e pool instead. after e swim, we headed down to holland village for dinner..initially intended to try Fosters but i felt it was too expensive so we settled for NYDC. and dear was really nice to offer to help me wif my proof-reading (coz i was only half done)..so we sat at NYDC doing e proof-reading over a mocha cheesecake. after dat we moved over to Starbucks to continue till about 10 plus b4 heading our seperate ways home. if not for dear's help, i wld be burning e midnight oil last night..appreciate it lots, dear!

sunday - put work aside for e afternoon..met ling for lunch at Breeks at Taka and did some quick shopping..didnt get anything though except stocking up on my facial and eye masks. came home ard 5pm, took a nap and started on my work..am finally done for now.

well e next 3 weeks is gonna be hell for me..coz my intern is on reservist and i've got no other help. e thought of it is freaking me out..seriously dunno how i'm going to tide through. furthermore, it's my bday month..and i doubt i can enjoy it =(

i need all the hope and luck i can get.
