was waiting eagerly for e weekend to come after another draining work week..and it was definitely worth e wait =) and in fact i met my dear for all 3 days =p

fri night, dear and i went for dinner at tis jap eatery at chinatown after our 2nd failed attempt to try out tis Global Sounds Cafe in dat area..1st time coz it was fully occupied..tis time we managed to enter, but e place was abit messy and e waiters seemed too busy to attend to us..making us feel kinda lost..so doubt we'll step back in there again. anyway after e dinner, we headed down to Eski Bar at boat quay area..i've been wanting to go to dat place since dunno how many years ago after i heard bout it..but nv went bout doing it..so fri was my first time there..and e place already looked quite old. well at least e cocktails we ordered were quite refreshing =)

on sat, i finally had a bball game wif my jc gals and cand joined us too..was fun as usual..and a good work-out session for my arms especially..feeling e muscle pain le..haha. after dat i headed home to shower and then went out to meet dear to go to Si Ma Lu to pray. as we wanted to try tis dessert place we chanced upon on some food directory - Obolo, which is near Katong area..we made prior plans e week before to go eat katong laksa as well. so we had laksa for lunch, then went ard exploring katong area..and we realised there's actually quite a number of good eating places at katong! anyway we had our dessert at Obolo after walking quite abit..tried their 'Design Your Own Platter' menu which includes one slice of cake, 2 macaroons and one scoop of ice-cream..all of ur choice..it was good and value-for-money! dear loves their desserts and latte..can see he wld like to go back there again..haha..but anyway we r sure to go back to Katong again coz we haf quite a few eating places we r keen to try e next time =)

dinner was at Aston's Specialities..coz we haf been talking bout trying it but nv had e chance until we saw an outlet in katong..dear's family came to join us for dinner as well..however, think e steak there was so so only..maybe dat's y e price of its steaks r considerably lower than other restaurants. after dinner, we headed to Bugis for drinks at J. Co and then it was home sweet home. i slept quite early for a sat night coz i was pretty tired..and had to return to office e next day to prepare for my tues' event stuffs.

and my dear was really sweet to offer to accompany me at e office on a sunday..when he cld actually just spend more time sleeping and slacking his sun away. wif his help, i managed to get my things done by bout 4pm and we headed to raffles city for a late lunch at Soup Spoon, had coffee at Ya Kun, and walked around abit before going home.

well i'll be having my Singapore event tis tues..and will be flying off to Bangkok next week for an event there..and there's still 4 more events in e month of June. well at least e tougher part which is e initial planning stage for e entire project is considered done and now is more of e preparation and execution. it's still gonna be a tough period for me..so i still need all e luck and hope i can get!

on a side note, my bday is approaching..though i'm nt exactly feeling excited bout it..maybe coz tis time e work burden is much heavier than last year during my bday period. but thankfully, it falls on a friday! so at least i can still afford to stay out late and enjoy my celebrations over e weekend. juz praying dat everything will go smoothly tis week so i can haf a happy bday =)
