i was looking forward to e weekend coz i knew it wld be great and it was indeed =)
fri after work, i met joa for dinner at e Hemisphere Cafe at Orchard OG..previously i had tried their dessert before, so tis time i tried their main course..which is so so only..but we kinda like e cafe's decor and ambience. anyway after dat we were scouting for some new cafe in orchard for a drink, but ended up in Paragon's Coffee Bean as many cafes were already closing.
my sat was full of eating - steamboat for lunch, then bbq for dinner..haha. e steamboat gathering was wif RP family, organized for my belated bday celebration.,and it was held at my place. i woke up pretty early in e morning to haf breakfast wif dear at Compasspoint..then e rest arrived and we did our grocery shopping. returned to my place at ard 12 noon and started preparing e food for steamboat...and then it was time to tuck in! after dat we had our gambling session, playing e "da xiao" game dat cand brought along..which i was really lucky at my 1st try..and poor jm had to part wif his 6 bucks when he was e first one to be e dealer haha..though after dat my luck wasnt dat good anymore, even for texas holdem. but on e overall, it was an enjoyable afternoon wif my dearie gals and our partners..hope for more of such gathering sessions!

anyway after dat, dear and i proceeded for another gathering..coz dear and his friends had planned for a surprise bday bbq for their good friend. it was another pretty enjoyable session..wif lots of food and drinks. i headed home ard 11 plus and was so tired dat i cldnt stay past 1am.
today i met cand for some shopping..it was arranged at e last min coz i had lesser work to do tis weekend..and felt dat i shldnt waste it by boring myself at home..anyway at least we got ourselves some stuffs =)
well e weekend is coming to a close..but before i know it..e next weekend will be here..so i muz stay positive! anyway i'm travelling again for work..tis time to malaysia..which will e next week..juz hoping i wont haf too much projects to worry bout when i'm away. alright, shall go catch some tv show now..tata!
