i'm grateful for the simple pleasures in my life. like the things i do during the weekends..and tis weekend is no exception =)

dear and i stepped foot into e new Orchard Central on friday after work..had dinner at Botejyu and coffee & desserts at Spinelli before calling it a day. didnt really get e chance to explore much of e shopping mall though..shall probably go there again some other time.

on sat morning, i woke up pretty early to go over to yun's new house at Boon Lay. spent bout 2 hours plus at her place catching up wif each other and also helping her explore hotel venues for her wedding dinner. after dat, i went over to dear's place (just a few bus stops down frm yun's place) for lunch. slacked at his place for a while before heading down to West Coast Park to participate in e Kite Festival Singapore. my parents & sis also came to join us. it was a lovely sight seeing so many kites in e sky and even lovelier seeing our own kite flying so high up in e sky =) e wind was really strong..and we almost required no effort in letting our kite fly up..the whole rim of string was released so u can imagine how high our kite went!

by 7pm, most of e kite flyers were packing up to go back, so we also left e park and walked over to West Coast Plaza to haf a good dinner at Dian Xiao Er. after which, we all headed home to haf an early night.

i didnt feel like cooping up at home today..so dear and i met to catch e movie Final Destination at Bishan. as far as i can remember, FD 1 was e only thriller movie dat left quite an impression on me..coz i felt dat it had an interesting movie plot. though e plot is almost e same for e sequels of FD..juz different accident themes and death scenarios..but i'm still quite keen on watching every sequel of FD (even though thriller movies r really nt my cup of tea). anyway after e movie, we went to e library to borrow books and chilled out at Cafe Galilee before leaving for home.

yup dat's how my wonderful weekend was spent!
