i've been so waiting for tis long weekend..and cldnt contain my anxiousness to get done wif my work on friday..and i managed to knock off by 7pm! so dear and i went to liang court's Tampopo for dinner..we've been talking bout going there a couple of times but nv ended up there..so on fri, we finally gt to taste their ramen, which was really nt bad. since it was still early, we decided to go indulge in some desserts and unanimously agreed on having our all time favorite Soffiato at Ricciotti..and we also tried their Panna cotta which is also quite good..will definitely recommend tis Italian restaurant for desserts! anyway we headed home after dat and i had an earlier night so dat i cld gather more energy for e weekend's programmes.
on sat morning, i went wif dear and his family to attend their relative's church wedding..though they'r nt my relatives, but it is still sweet seeing couples tying e knot =) after e lunch reception, i went back home to wash up and then rushed over to jer's place for our RP gals' gathering. wat can four gals do in a house to entertain themselves - a game of mahjong of course! haha. so we played one round, then went for zi char dinner at tpy central before returning to jer's place for another round which lasted till almost 1am. it was a fun night wif e gals coz we can be really quite nonsensical together..haha. anyway e exhausted me left jer's place and took a cab to pick dear up before heading to his place for e night.
dear and i had plans for brunch at Barracks Cafe at Dempsey House today..we decided on dat place as we haven been to dempsey together..and in fact i've only been there once for a site recce..haven had e chance to try any of their cafes. anyway we ordered Eggs Benedict and Oregon Salmon Hash - very breakfasty items which is quite yummy! and we satisfied our sweet tooth with their Churros and also tried tis interesting fusion tea called 'Muah Muah' =p anyway after e satisfying meal, we took a bus out to PS for e movie 'UP', kinda enjoyed it coz it was touching, funny and cute at e same time. after dat, i went back to compasspoint to meet my parents for dinner at Yoshinoya and then headed home to spend e evening resting and typing tis entry now.
although i wont haf monday blues tomorrow coz it's a public holiday..but i can feel e sian-ness slowly creeping into me as i witness my long-awaited weekend fleeting past me. i noe tis sian feeling comes and goes so habitually..coz one moment i am dreading e work week, and e next moment, i am excitedly welcoming e weekend. well but dat's life for us..isnt it? so let's juz live e moment - chuck away e bad ones and cherish e good ones!
