on fri, i had a lunch treat frm a sales manager frm Swissotel The Stamford whom i am on quite friendly terms wif and she was hoping i can help her garner some business frm my clients. anyway dat was by far e most expensive lunch i've had - $210 for 2 persons for a chinese set menu! BUT there was no shark's fin (not dat i like it lah)/abalone/buddha jump over the wall..e food was considerably nice but nth 'wow' other than e cost haha. but well, it was a free meal anyway..and i had a nice chat session wif e lady..think it's good to haf such networks, which may some day be helpful for work or even for personal life.
anyway after work, dear & i went down to Holland Village to join his friends at Wala Wala for drinks and music. i gt abit lethargic after e alcohol frm my Mango Magaritha kicked in and also coz e music was too loud so quite difficult for us to talk, and thus e tendency to space out while listening to e band perform..haha. anyway i cabbed home and knocked out by 2am.
next morning, i travelled down to Jurong East to meet dear..coz we were going to attend Wilber Pan's autograph session at IMM..it's been bout 2 years since he came to singapore so muz go 'peng chang! haha. e 2 hr wait was definitely worth it..coz we managed to get a right spot and cld haf a really good view of him =p
anyway after we left e place and went over to e JE library to read and drink at Cafe Galilee (again!) haha. we actually planned to head down to a jap restaurant at Liang Court for dinner..but gave up e plan in e end as i was quite tired, so we went back to dear's place for a nap..then ordered Sarpino's pizza for dinner and had it while watching e movie - Departures on his computer. it was a pretty slack saturday for us but still enjoyable =)
woke up at noon today coz i only slept at 4am last night..so did my usual stuffs..and my mum suggested dat we go down to fly my kite which we did. though e kite still cldnt fly high, it was quite fun especially since it's our first time flying a kite together..and it was nice seeing e smiles on my parents' faces. i really hope i can share more of such quality time wif my parents coz i noe age is catching up wif them.
alright shall go haf my dinner and relax away e last few hrs of my sunday. anyway we all haf a long weekend to look forward to! though i wld prefer if e holiday fell on a fri instead of mon..coz fridays r my fav days of e week! but i wont complain since it's still a long weekend..so am gonna start making plans again!
