another long weekend for everybody..and i had my share of good times =)
Friday - i had a simple dinner with dear at Coffee Bean at Chinatown Point, after which i went to join my colleagues for a ktv session. after ktv, we walked over to Bar SaVanh at Club Street to chill out. we haf a few newbies to the company and it's our first group outing together..glad we can click pretty well probably since our age gaps are not too far apart, and we r all nice, friendly pple =p so we chit chatted and shared relationship stories and experiences while sipping on our cocktails..then cabbed home ard 1am when all of us were feeling kinda tired already. btw i like the bar's decor and ambience..one of e ideal places for chilling out with alcohol!
Saturday - i went wif my family to Far East for lunch and did some quick shopping, before heading over to Jer's place for mj wif e gals. we played till bout 7pm then i went wif them to Northpoint where they had their teppanyaki dinner. after dat, i left for Holland Village to join dear and his family for Crystal Jade's steamboat and xiao long bao buffet..i love xiao long baos and now there's an unlimited serving! haha..but a pity i didnt really eat alot as my hunger had kinda dwindled by e time i reached there at 9 plus. but it was still an enjoyable meal! and after e dinner, i went over to dear's place for e night.
Sunday - had our breakfast at dear's place and dear then accompanied me back to my office to get e adapter for my office laptop (i actually forgot to bring it back on fri night and my laptop battery is cui already). we then headed to Raffles City to look for some work-related items and we had a potato salad and tea at Canele's after dat. dear then sent me home and back home, my cousin and aunt came to visit. so i got to see my cute little niece and played wif her till they went home. i took a short nap before i went to PS to meet 2 of my colleagues for dinner..it was a last min outing..but i enjoyed it especially e chill out session at 1 Caramel as we chatted and shared our different perspectives of life, work and relationships over our drinks at the alfresco area. oh yah their Chocolate Berry Lust dessert is nice..good quality valrhona chocalate!
Monday - of course it was a monday without blues coz it's nt a working day..though i decided to stay home e entire day to spend some time doing work..but guess i was pretty unmotivated coz i felt sleepy and my mind wasnt very active..haha. anyway i had my evening jog as usual but tis time indoors, as the moment i stepped out of my block, it started to pour. alright..and now i'm waiting for my dinner and still trying to resolve the new windows live messenger issue on my home laptop..y does msn has to give us such frustrating problems?!
anyway after the recent chats wif my friends and colleagues regarding relationships..i've come to believe dat there are no fairy tale endings, especially after hearing a colleague's tragic love story..but it definitely made me realised how important it is for two people who were brought together to love each other to cherish their relationship and make the best out of it. even if in e end, things do not turn out as expected, at least it will be memory that's worth keeping. don't u agree?
