luckily my friday wasn't ruined at work..and i managed to get out of e office earlier than usual..so went to meet dear and his group of friends at Central for dinner. we had ramen at tis restaurant introduced by dear..then went over to The Mind Cafe for 2 hours' of games and fun before it was home sweet home. and i caught a pretty good sleep dat night!
next day, i celebrate my dad's bday in advance wif my family by having ala carte dim sum lunch at Fortunate Restaurant at toa payoh. e variety and quality of e food is nt bad, and glad my parents had no complaints but anyway they were e ones who chose e place haha. after dat, i headed off to meet dear for our movie - Love Happens, then decided on dinner at Food For Thought..tried their desserts e other time, so now tried their mains. i kinda like e place coz it gives me a homely feel..and their food is quite good! anyway after dat, we walked over to The Coffee Nations, tis other cosy cafe where we slacked e rest of e night away..sipping on our ice-blended frappe, enjoying a warm lava cake and playing scrabble =)
as for today, instead of staying home e entire day..i headed out again..think i'm kinda used to spending my sundays out in e day..provided i dun haf dat much work to clear over e weekend. anyway coz i wanted to get my fringe straightened, so went over to e usual home salon at Jurong. dear accompanied me there and after lunch at JP, we went back to his house to do our work stuffs as i brought my laptop along.
i'm actually typing tis post at his house..so later when i get back home, i will haf dinner and probably catch some tv programme..and then head to bed! after being quite unlucky at work these few weeks, i seriously hope all tis bad luck will juz go away and leave me alone till e end of tis year!
