i had a fantastic Christmas break! which was dedicated to my dearest boy whose bday falls on Christmas =)
on xmas eve, even though i didnt go to work, i was home settling some work stuffs and left my house ard 5 plus. went to sim lim to check out cameras for office use, before meeting dear and his friends at bugis. we had dinner at Benten Cafe at Iluma then took e train down to Vivo, where we met a few more of his friends and headed down in a car to Prive cafe at Keppel Bay..spent e night chilling out there till 1am before cabbing home.
on e next day which was also xmas, it was my surprise bday celebration for dear. told him dat i wld be bringing him for lunch but didnt give him any clue as to where we were going..and i had made plans wif his good friends to spring a little surprise on him..by appearing at e restaurant i was bringing him to. so in e morning, i went to collect his bday cake..ordered tis tofu cheesecake online coz he loves tofu cheesecake..then arranged to pass it to his friends before meeting him. anyway i brought him to tis jap restaurant at Riverview hotel for jap food buffet and dat's where his friends were waiting in e private room wif his cake =) yup so for e buffet, we indulged in sashimi, teppanyaki, tempura etc..think e food there is considered quite good, and e tofu cheesecake i bought also received quite alot of praises..glad i made e right choices! haha.
after dat, we went to tiong bahru to collect our tickets for e movie, Sherlock Homes and chilled out at Mc Cafe before e show started. after e movie, we were thinking of wat we cld do next..and dear suggested doing steamboat at his place which was a pretty good idea..something cosy and nice to do wif a group of friends on xmas =) so we went to JP's NTUC to shop for groceries, then headed to dear's house to prepare e food..and it was time to dig in! we actually started e steamboat pretty late..9 plus..so e whole session only ended ard 12am..and i quickly took a cab back as dear and i were travelling to msia e next day.
so on sat, excited me woke up ard 7am and went to meet dear at golden mile to board e coach for our 2D1N desaru trip - which is my bday gift to dear =) he was not aware of where we were going until we got onto e coach..haha..exciting isnt it? anyway i wont elaborate on wat we did during e trip or else tis post will be super lengthy. all in all, we had a great time there..visited some tourist places, saw fireflies lighting up e trees like christmas trees, slept quite abit on e coach, ate alot, and most importantly, we thoroughly enjoyed each other's company =)
tis is one of e best christmas i've had..juz wished it didnt have to end so soon..but e comforting thing wld be there's still one more long weekend break tis week - e new year break! i'm so going to make sure it'll be a great break too!
