it’s e time of e week to blog again..which also means e weekend is coming to an end =( but at least next week is e Christmas week..quite alot of programmes to look forward to..will come to dat later in my post!
yup so now is for my weekend updates…
fri after work, i managed to leave e office by 7 plus and headed down to bugis to meet dear..we were famished and cldnt wait to haf our dinner at Fika – this swedish cafe at Arab Street, which we came across last week when we were in dat area. we ordered their meatballs and grilled salmon..their meatballs is served exactly in e same way as e ones frm Ikea..tastes as good but alot more expensive! after e dinner, dear’s friend called and he haven’t had dinner so we went wif him to Thai Express at Iluma and we had desserts there..some pineapple coconut soda and mango sticky rice..which reminded me of bangkok..am missing it! anyway after dat, we were thinking of catching a movie but there were no suitable timings so we ended up at e arcade, watched pple play e UFO Catcher and we played tis ‘Spot The Difference’ game on one of e machines..by e time we finished 5 tokens on it, it was almost 1am..so we cabbed home.
on sat, i woke up pretty early to go to e paya lebar temple to ‘huan tai sui’..was supposed to go wif dear but he was caught up wif some work at e last minute.so i headed down myself and after dat went over to parkway parade to do some xmas shopping..and managed to get my gifts for e gift exchange next week..phew! or else i wld hafta go out today to get them le. after i was done wif my shopping, i went over to dear’s place and we cooked instant noodles for lunch..then slacked away e afternoon and i got ready to leave for RP Feel Good Day in e evening.
e theme for tis year is ‘sexy, naughty, bitchy me’ as thought by jer, which is so difficult to find clothes for..coz dat’s so not our pattern haha. but we girls spontaneously dressed up for e occasion and looked pretty good! *thick-skinned* haha. but e pics r wif cand so cant show it here at tis point of time.
anyway unfortunately, think we made a pretty bad choice for our dinner and chill out place dat day..we had selected a few places prior to e day and planned to make e final decision on e day itself. dinner was at tis jap restaurant at clark quay..e food was nt dat bad but juz dat e variety was not alot and e sashimi was ex..which cand actually had a craving for. after walking a few rounds ard e clubs and bars in clark quay, we felt it was still too early for drinks, so we went to TCC for desserts first..and finally decided on going to Lunar for drinks. we knew they played mandarin pop..but juz dat when we were in there, e atmosphere was not ‘high’ enough for us..haha..or perhaps is juz hard to find a place to please all of us..haha. finally after dat, we decided to leave e club and go for supper..i was craving for chicken wings so we went to Hooters and spent quite some time there chatting away. well, despite all e not-so-good choices for e main hangout places..wat was most important was still e company and it was a good time for us to catch up =) well we’ll be meeting soon again..for our xmas gathering!
oops, i realized my entry is so long already..but anyway i dun haf much to say for today..since i’ve been stuck at home wif my work..and still haf quite abit to do..though i really dun haf e mood.
well to perk up my mood abit, at least e xmas season is coming! and xmas also means it’s my dearest boy’s bday =)
yup so i’m pretty packed wif programmes for e upcoming week..and will be bringing dear on a surprise trip over e coming weekend! absolutely cant wait for my programmes to unfold tis week..juz please dun let me be plagued by work but sadly i think i wld be coz work is picking up again..and in fact i've been quite unhappy at work recently..but gotta push e negative thoughts aside!
