this week was a pretty eventful week for me since thurs!
thurs was maxine's wedding and i was her jie mei as well as coordinator for her wedding dinner..my first time for both roles and it was an interesting experience =) anyway i took leave dat day as it was a weekday. went to her house at 6 plus in e morning and shuttled btw her house and her hubby's house until ard 1pm then headed home to take a nap. left for Conrad at ard 4pm as i needed to go over earlier to run through e dinner programme wif her. well everything went quite smoothly during e dinner so at least i didnt fail as a wedding coordinator..haha. shld really consider changing my career to become a wedding planner..coz i kinda like being at weddings and get to witness all e happy and touching moments! =p
anyway on fri, i got to eat good food for dinner again coz it was my company's annual dinner at Mariott Cafe. there r 2 things i definitely will indulge in during buffets - sashimi and desserts! whacked alot of salmon sashimi there..and also tried most of their desserts..quite a lot of variety and quality is nt bad! anyway after e dinner, i joined some of my colleagues at tis ktv pub in tanjong pagar..played some games and drank till bout 1am..then headed home to knock out coz was really really tired.
sat was dear and my 20th monthisary..so we made plans to hit e cycling tracks at ECP again! but before dat, i met him to go to Arab Street to check out some work stuffs..then we took a train to bedok and had lunch at e hawker centre before going over to ECP. cycled for about 2 hours, and also took a rest at bedok jetty to enjoy e sea breeze. since it was still early for our dinner plans, we headed down to Tampines 1 to do some xmas shopping. left e place ard 7pm and took a bus to Katong for our dinner at Everything with Fries..a new cafe which i came across e other time i was there. tis place serves mains with fries..and u get to choose e flavor of e fries! dear tried curry flavor and i tried sour cream and onion (my fav chips flavor)..think their food is nt bad and reasonably-priced..and it's an interesting concept to play ard wif flavors of fries..think they probably gt e inspiration frm macs' shaker fries..haha..anyway after dat, it was dessert at one of dear's fav dessert place - Obolo and then home sweet home.
well, i decided to stay home today coz i've had too many programmes going for me tis week..need to get more rest. anyway i realised my xmas week is packed..i have programmes every day starting frm 22 dec till 27 dec (besides work) ..omg..gonna be so drained out..but i'm still really looking forward..in fact to these 2 weeks coz we r having RP feel good day tis sat! i'm already in holiday mood =p
