simply love my weekends! because e weekends r so precious to me, i'm always making sure my weekends r well-planned and have interesting activities to keep me happy...and tis weekend is no exception!
on fri after work, i met dear at china square (which is where his new office is)..we had Sushi Tei for dinner and our fav chocolate dessert, Soffiato at Ricciotti..and we left home considerably early. a simple but satisfying way to conclude another week of hard work =)
sat was a more packed day for dear & me. i went over to JP in e morning, and we had breakfast at Subway (didn't know they serve breakfast items until dear told me). after breakfast, we headed to UOB where dear opened a new savings account. and then, we did grocery shopping for our lunch which we were going to make sushi =p so with our recipe on hands, we searched for e items, purchased them and left for dear's place. and it was sushi making time! it's our first attempt at it, and e outcome (looks and taste) is not bad! juz need to brush up on our sushi rolling skills..haha.
anyway after enjoying our homemade sushi, we slacked for a while, before going downstairs for a jog. after which, we headed to IMM coz dear wanted to switch his plan frm M1 to Starhub and get his iPhone. we got a queue number and settled dinner at Pepper Lunch while waiting for our turn..but in e end, dear didnt manage to get his phone coz he didnt bring his dad's IC along..so we went back home since it was already 10pm.
today, i went to my ex-tutee's house to visit her and my god daughter. i realised it's been a year since i saw them..feel guilty dat i'm always nt able to find e time to visit them..so since i knew i had no programmes today, i decided to go to look for them. bought some toy for my god daugther..she's quite a smart kid but also very active and naughty..quite an amusement to watch her play..haha. anyway caught up abit wif my ex-tutee and i really admire her for giving up most of her social life for her kid when pple of her age r happily enjoying their youth and spending money on material stuffs. it isnt easy but she still tries to make things sound positive, which makes me feel comforted.
after i left her place, i went to meet dear and 2 other friends coz they wanted to explore tis abandoned house at punggol. but we didnt get to enter e house coz it was fenced up and no trespassing was allowed. so we only got to take pictures of e exterior..quite an interesting building, but wonders wat lurks inside! haha.
anyway after dat, i went home for my dinner while they went to chinatown for dinner. yup so i juz had my dinner, and am blogging. shall go relax abit and catch some tv show. i'm so busy everyday dat i really hardly ever watch tv..feel quite pathetic..seriously hoping for e day dat i can get out of tis pathetically busy & hectic lifestyle!
