i met up wif xiaoyun on fri after work..been some time since i last saw her..it was a nice meetup over dinner at bugis's TCC, catching up on life and work stuffs. stayed there till 10 plus and then it was home sweet home.
sat morning, i went for an interview (not the formal kind though)..it was at some cafe at cluny court in bukit timah..wont elaborate on wat e job is until i've been selected (IF i do). anyway i've been receiving alot of encouragement from friends to leave my job since i'm so unhappy..and i am really feeling e strong motivation to do so. so crossing my fingers and hoping i get e job..though i seriously dunno if it'll be the right decision to make..but all i noe is i really want to get out of my current job!
anyway after e interview, i went over to riverview hotel to meet dear and his family..we had lunch buffet at e jap restaurant which dear had his bday celebration at last year. so it's sashimi indulgence again! =) and after a satisfying and filling lunch, we headed over to PS, had drinks at mos burger before catching e movie "Hear Me". quite a touching yet funny movie..coz e male character is very lame in e show haha. after dat, we walked around, settled a simple dinner at Killiney coffeeshop, and went to orchard central's rootop garden to have a view of singapore's skyline. dear & i still didnt want to end e night, so spent time chatting at e istana park and our last destination was e newly opened jalan kayu prata cafe beside PS. their ice blended chocolate is quite good! haha.
as for today, i had a bball session wif my jc gals..been ages since we last played..fun as usual..and also a chance for us to have a quick catch up session. and we r planning for a dinner gathering in geylang sometime after CNY..looking forward!
anyway after i returned home for lunch and did some work stuffs, i went out to meet my family and i finally gt myself a new phone! i'm nt someone who has to keep up wif new phones in e market..but since now it's e smartphone generation..i feel dat i better nt be so outdated, especially wif my rather old Samsung phone (as e one dear gt me for my bday e year before is already faulty). tis time i gt an LG phone (was quite an impromptu decision on e brand and model)..but anyway feel more pro wif a smartphone now! haha.
alright, i think i've exhausted myself tis weekend..and have been lacking of sleep last week coz was rushing a presentation. will meddle wif my new phone for a while before calling it a day!
