i had an eventful weekend =)
met my jc buddies for dinner after work on friday, partially for jinx's belated bday celebration. we went to Next Door Cafe..a cosy little cafe at arab street. after our meal, we stayed on to play Cluedo till bout 11pm before cabbing home.
on sat, i woke up to do abit of work stuffs..then went out to meet dear at bukit batok coz we were going to his friend's place for mahjong. so we all had lunch at a coffeeshop before our mahjong + poker session. my luck at mahjong was pretty good so i won some money =) but my luck at texas poker was not as good..fortunately, i broke even..so didnt lose any money. anyway we left e house at ard 7 plus to head down to e river hongbao..but stopped over at bugis and had ramen for dinner first. then took a bus to e floating platform to view e displays at river hongbao. and our last stop was max brenner to enjoy a glass of choctail..i kinda like their choctails, good rich chocolate drink!
sun, i had to drag myself out of bed at 9 plus in e morning to do my work coz i was going out in e afternoon..wasnt in e mood..but had to force myself to do so as quite abit of work to do tis weekend =( anyway i left e hse ard 1pm after lunch and headed down to tampines to meet dear as we were going for his friend's baby shower. stayed there only for an hour or so as we were meeting my colleagues for basketball session. we went over to one of my colleague's condo's bball court and played a few games..my first time playing with them..was pretty fun! after dat, we went to have dinner at Pastamania before dear sent me home. look forward to more of such gatherings coz though we see each other 5 days a week but we hardly have e time to really interact at work, esp me coz i'm so busy!
well..there goes the weekend and here comes the blues again..i guess it's because i enjoy my weekends so much..so when i noe it's coming to an end and e working week is looming..i feel the blues. alright..no matter what, i will cheong the week so as to welcome my next weekend!
