some thoughts running through my mind this weekend..just wishing dat things could be simpler. anyway i wont blog bout it till i get it settled..so i'll just update bout my weekend programmes!
i'll skip friday night coz it was dedicated to work..had an event dat evening..so headed straight home after e event ended ard 10pm..badly needed to rest my tired legs!
my sat was fruitfully spent - met dear at paya lebar..and i brought him to have lunch at city plaza's arnold's fried chicken restaurant..been ages since i last been there..and it was dear's first time trying their food. after lunch, we travelled down to e paya lebar temple to pray to Tai Sui coz dear 'fan tai sui' tis year. then, we headed down to dhoby ghaut..bought movie tics at cathay and went to plaza sing's carrefour to get sushi and pizza..for our little picnic at macritchie! we spent bout 2 hours plus at macritchie..relaxing and eating..seeing e calm reservoir waters made me feel slightly calmer at heart =)
anyway after dat, we headed back to cathay for our movie..but as it was still early..we chilled out at starbucks till it was time. we watched e hongkong movie "Hot Summer Days' which was quite nice..i like love stories! =p and after e movie, it was home sweet home.
as for today, i was home for e first half of e day..then went to meet dear at Lot 1 for dinner. dinner was at a hong kong cafe coz i had a craving for baked rice =p after dat, dropped by e library for a while and borrowed 2 books written by Mitch Albom, e author of 'Tuesdays with Morrie' who actually came to Singapore last friday. am juz in e mood for reading some meaningful books..maybe coz i feel dat i'm lacking some meaning in my life..not a good feeling..so i really hope i can find back my direction in life soon!
