my first week at my new job was pretty good! i'm enjoying what i do..and the pace at work is considerably comfortable. i even got to go for a massage and facial during e weekdays =) well, i expect work to pick up and i'll get busier but just hoping that it'll never be as hectic as my previous job!
ok now back to how i spent the weekend!
after work on fri, i met dear and we went to robertson quay for dinner..tried a new cafe called "Epicurious"..food was not too bad. after dinner, we went in search for a place for dessert but ended up walking all e way to town..and settled for cake & coffee at Blue Mountain Cafe at Somerset 313. after dat, we didnt feel like ending e night so soon, so checked out e movie timings at cine and bought tics for "Love in a Puff", a hongkong romantic comedy. and then it was home sweet home after e show.
on sat, i stayed home for lunch, then went over to ling's place to play mahjong wif e girls till evening. after which, we went to have a satisfying dinner at Pow Sing resturant at Serangoon Garden. anyway ling specially baked a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for me to congratulate me for my new job..sweet of her! =)
as for today, i woke up for a morning jog then slacked in front of e tv for a couple of hours before heading out to look for dear at his new house. he just moved in this weekend but most of e furniture are not in yet. we went with to vivo with his family to have dinner at Thai Express, as sort of a celebration for his dad's bday. e last stop at this new chinese dessert shop in vivo which i think is overpriced for e kind of dessert they serve.
alright, it's time to hit e pillows soon! now dat my life is not so busy and hectic, i hope to try to sleep by 12am whenever i can..really need to get more beauty sleep - can help to improve my complexion and lighten those dark circles! when one looks good, one'll feel good too! =)
